It’s easier to say "the world has no greener side". Is sad for National Geographic crew’s effort to have taken so much beautiful scenes. It’s sad for your parents effort to provide you safe and comfortable life. I am sorry to hear that.

As Sigmund Freud, godfather of psychoanalysis, have many writings that consistently reflects human beings. Human has an inate ability called "defense mechanism". Probably the one who sees or choose to see there is nothing greener on the other side is easier for them to live life. So they won’t be hurt and dissapointed. They would consistently be on defensive stance. So they are prepared to be not hurt and dissapointed, therefore, "Anything beautiful is rejected because is not real, anything bad is generalized as real". I am sorry for those who had to enjoy so little about life.

Another interesting theory from W. Glasser that has widely discussed by scholars that may be applicable for those who are interested to read further on this article of mine. It Choice Theory that I will be discussing. It seems many people have low awareness that we have tremendous capacity of ‘choices’. Most  helpless situations are due to "choiceless". More appropriately "limited choice". We are unable to act or react because the limited options in choices. In life, it is how we choose to live, to listen, to perceive, to think, and even to be told what to do. We can choose to let people tell us what to do, so is not about "we have no choice because we are told to do it". Even death can be a choice for suicical cases, which is not such a popular choice… I shall not be long winded, I hope above is elucidated enough for a brief understanding. So come back to the Ugly and Beautiful world, some people CHOOSE to see and acknowledge only the Ugliness, some people CHOOSE to see and acknowledge only the Beautiful, and some CHOOSE to see and acknowledge the both- Ugly and Beautiful. So the fact is choices are always there, is up for you to discover more.

I have received many interesting comments from certain people about the
recent post I had on Ugly and Beautiful. Maybe something for you to
wonder and I must say, people are impatient to think more. Most people are
full of actions, thus, life can be like a big casino to them; full of
gambling like rolling a dice to see what life will turn out to be. Just
do it first and when shit happens then only think and plan. I wonder
why not think before you act. Think before you judge. This before you choose or think of what choices you have. The mind is like
a parachute; it only works when it’s opened.

I hope everyone have a beautiful sight in their eyes and heart, even though there is the existence of ugliness.

Who am I? Who are you? Who are we? Why are we here?
Why do we do it? Why should I believe? What makes you believe?
How does it happen? What the fuck is going on? How do I get there/here?
Is there a purpose in life? Is there only one God? Is there God? Is religion man made? Should religion be institutionalized?
Is this world real? Am I real? Are you real?
Do I exist? Do you exist? What is existence?
Can I trust you? Can I trust myself? Can I trust myself to trust you?
Did you lie? Why did you lie? Do you know you are lying?
What is war? Do we need war? Should war happen? Does war bring peace? Does peace needs war?
Why do you care? Why didn’t you care?
What is love? Will love prevail? Is there love?
What is death? Where do we go when we die? Do we actually "die"?
What is life? Did life exist for us? Or did we exist for life?
What is matter? What consist of matter? Is matter part of our illusion?
Why do we ask why? Why "question" exist? Why do we bother ask questions?
Must we know? Do we want to know? Should I know? Shouldn’t you know?

I frown upon one who sees only one side of the world. I am sad to be aware of those who is os dissapointed at the world… Allow yourself to have a chance to see that there is a greener side of the world, although pessimist may see a lot of grey, and even bloody side of the world; Please do not let the series of the unfortunate events sway you from the actual world. Yes, the world can be ugly but be fair to let the world charm you with Her beautiful side of the world. Why choose only to see the disgusting side of her? How about the lovely side of Her. When one chooses to only acknowledge Her ugliness, one succumbs to despise Her and react to hate and anger… The Way or the Tao. It has the Ying and Yang.
